Interview

Renee, tell us about yourself .

I like to crochet, decorate cakes and cup cakes. Spend time with my mother and enjoy a lunch or dinner meal with friends.

What influenced you to begin your business? Were there any trials or struggles that led you to the place where you are now?

I have great ideas in my head but people did not want to listen to me. Those who did listen, tried my ideas for themselves. I felt alone, so, I decide to strike out. I have been in business for a long time and the road is not easy. There have been many trials, failures and yes, I have been penniless. But I am still here. There are times when you have to re-evaluate and ask yourself, ” Why are you doing this and not a 9 to 5 . Eventually, I had to go back to work and shut down the business. However, I am slowly getting back with a new attitude.

What are your business goals for the next 3-5 years?

My goals is to open a Medical Lifestyle Spa , where women can come and learn how to eat, exercise and reduce their stress. In addition , I see myself speaking across US.

Do you have a motto, encouraging quote or bible verse you want to share?

“But with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 KJV

What advice do you have for a woman who has been thinking about starting her own business?

Pray. and Pray, and never let any one or circumstance stop you from pursing your dreams.

Please tell us where we can connect with you online.
